We are having a contest where you get to become an official TSL Beta Tester! You will get to physically play a very recent build of TSL, and then report every bug you see using the form below. This contest will be held from March 9th to April 6th, 2008 at the moment. We will announce in the Forum if the deadline happens to change, but it is strongly advised to submit your entry during this time period. The winners are being evaluated in 3 phases:
In Phase 1, every valid bug reported by each person will be counted and a percentage will be generated, based on the number of bugs found by the team for this build. If a person has found a bug the team has not previously reported, it will count as a bonus. From here, the average will be taken. Everyone scoring higher than the average will move on to phase 2.
In Phase 2, each report will be checked for style. Meaning, the people who didn't follow the rules (i.e. not numbering bugs, finding 0 bugs in any required category, etc) will get point deductions while the ones who communicated the bugs the most clearly will get point additions.
In Phase 3, the finalists will be chosen by the current Beta Testers & Directors.
Phase 1 has just been completed! The total amount of entries is: 106. The average score with bonus bugs was 39.3%. 43 contestants out of the 106 will move on to Phase 2.
Phase 2 is now complete. 20 contestants out of the 43 are moving on to Phase 3. The average score was 89.6%, and the average point change was +11.4%. 10 of the 20 contestants moving forward are registered Forum members.
Phase 3 is now complete! The winners of the TSL Beta Contest are:
